Keith Murray’s Modern ceramic designs were influenced by his background in architecture as well as his experience as a WWI pilot. Streamlined Modernist design takes hold in this Moonstone vase that he designed for Wedgwood in the 1930s: a sleek shape of white matte ceramic is accented with platinum details, and a pop of kelly green makes a bold yet understated impact. Murray’s excellence in design is further emphasized by his signature being present on all of his Wedgwood pieces, an honor given to very few in the factory’s history.
